What we do, and what we don’t
Trailer Transport Specialist does one thing: we tow specialist loads on the correct trailer from where they are to where they need to be. We are not a courier, a pallet network or a haulage broker. Every job is quoted, collected and delivered by the same person, using a VW Touareg tow rig rated for 3,500 kg braked trailers and a choice of boat, plant, car-transporter and flatbed trailers.
Because we specialise, we carry the kit that general transport companies don’t — bunked boat trailers with winches, plant trailers with proper ramps, wheel straps and winch for non-runners, spa dollies and padded blocks for hot tubs — and we know the marinas, farm tracks, building sites and tight driveways that come with each type of load.

RIBs, speedboats, sailing dinghies, small cruisers, fishing boats and jet skis, moved marina-to-marina, home-to-water or dealer-to-driveway. We collect from slipways at high water, from marina hoists and cranes, and from driveways and storage yards, on your trailer or ours. Typical jobs include seasonal moves between inland homes and the coast, winter storage runs, delivering a boat you’ve bought online, and relocating a club or charter fleet.
Plant & machinery transport
Mini and micro excavators, dumpers, compact tractors, telehandler attachments, rollers, trenchers, ride-on mowers and hire-fleet kit up to 3.5 tonnes all-up. We load with proper ramps, chock and chain or strap to rated points, and deliver to sites, yards, farms, auctions and hire depots. Ideal for builders and landscapers who don’t want to tie up their own vehicle, and for private buyers collecting a machine from an auction or dealer.
Hot tub & swim spa transport
Hot tubs are heavy, awkward and easily damaged by people who move them once a year. We move them regularly: new tubs from retailers, second-hand tubs bought privately, and tubs going with their owners when they move house. We plan the route from trailer to base — gates, side passages, steps, decking — before we lift anything, and use spa dollies, sliders and straps rather than brute force.
Classic & non-runner car transport
Classics, project cars, barn finds, kit cars, track cars and non-runners winched gently onto a tilt-bed transporter and secured with wheel straps, never by the suspension or bodywork. We collect from auctions, dealers, restorers, storage units and private garages, and deliver to your door or workshop with photos at both ends.
Other trailer loads we move
Caravans and touring vans, box and flatbed trailers (empty or loaded), quad bikes and side-by-sides, motorbikes, ride-on mowers, garden machinery, market stalls, catering trailers and one-off awkward items. If it sits on a trailer and weighs under 3.5 tonnes with the trailer, ask — we’ll tell you straight away whether it’s a job we can do well. See the full list on our trailers and loads page.
Do you offer collection and delivery on the same day?
For shorter runs, yes — most moves under about 200 miles are collected and delivered the same day so your boat, machine or car is never left overnight on a trailer. Longer runs are planned around safe driving hours and we’ll tell you the schedule before you book.
Can I travel with my load?
Usually yes, there’s a passenger seat available by arrangement. Some customers like to accompany a boat or a classic car to its new home.
Do you move loads to Europe or Ireland?
Our core service is mainland UK plus the Isle of Wight and other islands by ferry. We can quote for Ireland and near-Europe on a case-by-case basis — get in touch with the details.
What if the load isn’t ready when you arrive?
Tell us as early as possible and we’ll rearrange. Waiting time is included within reason; we only charge for it if a collection has to be abandoned.
