Hot tub transport that treats it like a hot tub
A typical hot tub weighs 300–500 kg empty, is awkward to grip, and has an acrylic shell and cabinet that mark easily. Most damage happens in the last ten metres — gates, side passages, steps, decking. We plan that route before we arrive, bring spa dollies, sliders, straps and padding, and move the tub on its side or flat as the access dictates.

Before we arrive
The tub needs to be drained, disconnected by an electrician, dry and with the cover removed or strapped. We’ll send a short checklist when you book. At the delivery end we need the base ready and the route clear — we’ll ask for photos or a video of the path so nothing is a surprise on the day.
Access we can handle
Side passages down to about 90 cm (tub on its side on a dolly), a few steps, gravel and lawns with boards. Over-the-fence or crane lifts can be arranged separately if the only way in is over the house.
How much does hot tub transport cost?
Per mile, all-in, with loading and placement included. Local moves typically from around £150; longer runs quoted per mile. Difficult access is priced up front, never added later.
Do you reconnect the hot tub?
We position it on the base and refit the cover. Electrical reconnection must be done by a qualified electrician; we can usually recommend one locally.
Can you move a swim spa?
Yes, up to our 3.5 tonne trailer limit and 2.55 m width. Large one-piece swim spas may need a crane at the destination — we’ll advise.
Will the tub be strapped and covered?
Yes — padded straps to the trailer, corner protection and a weatherproof cover for the journey.
