Built to deliver
Trailer Transport Specialist exists because the usual options for moving a boat, a digger, a hot tub or a classic car are either a big haulage firm that treats it as freight, or a mate with a van who’s never strapped one down before. We sit in between: a dedicated, insured, properly equipped owner-driver who does this every week and cares about the load because his name is on the job.
The rig is a VW Touareg — chosen for its 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, permanent four-wheel drive for slipways and wet fields, and the stability that a heavy tow car gives a long trailer at motorway speeds. Behind it we run a bunked boat trailer, a plant trailer with ramps, a tilt-bed car transporter and a flatbed, so the load always goes on the trailer designed for it.
How we work
- Straight answers. If a load is outside what we can move safely and legally, we say so and, where we can, point you to someone who can.
- All-in quotes. Fuel, tolls, ferries and loading are in the price. The number we quote is the number you pay.
- One point of contact. You deal with the driver from first message to handover — no dispatch desk, no subcontractor turning up in an unmarked van.
- Evidence at both ends. Photos at collection and delivery, and a condition note for cars and boats, so everyone is protected.
- Insured. Goods in transit cover on every move; higher limits available for high-value boats and cars on request.

Are you a broker or do you actually do the transport?
We do the transport ourselves. No jobs are passed to third parties.
Can trade customers set up an account?
Yes — marinas, dealers, hire companies and retailers with regular work can arrange monthly invoicing. Email us with your details.
How do I know my load is covered?
Goods in transit insurance is in place for every move. Ask and we’ll send the certificate with your quote.
