Plant transport without tying up your own van
Builders, landscapers, groundworkers, hire companies and private buyers all hit the same problem: the machine is in the wrong place and moving it means losing a driver and a vehicle for a day. We take that job off your hands. Our twin-axle plant trailer with fold-down ramps and rated lashing points carries tracked and wheeled machines up to about 2,700 kg, behind a VW Touareg with four-wheel drive for soft ground at the site gate.

Bigger than 3.5 tonnes all-up? That needs a low-loader — we’ll say so straight away rather than turn up with the wrong kit.

Loading and securing plant
Machines are driven or tracked on under their own power where possible, or winched if not running. Tracked machines are positioned so the weight sits over the axles, then chocked and chained or strapped to rated points with the boom lowered and locked. Attachments travel separately, secured, never left in the bucket. We check the lashings after the first few miles and photograph the machine at both ends.
Can you collect from an auction site?
Yes. Send the lot details and collection window and we’ll handle the paperwork at the gate.
Will you move a non-running machine?
Yes, with the winch and skates. Tell us in advance so we allow the extra loading time.
Do you need someone on site at each end?
Ideally, to sign and to show us where the machine lives. If nobody can be there we’ll agree a safe drop location and send photos.
How much does plant transport cost?
Per mile on the real route, all-in. Local moves typically from around £150; longer runs quoted per mile. Send postcodes and the machine model for an exact figure.
